I have question that I hope is easy to answer. I have a DTXplorer kit - all original parts. I would like to replace my crash (triangle shaped) with a multi-zone cymbal. Is this possible and is there a specific Yamaha cymbal I should look for? Since the current cymbal is a 1-jack configuration, can I simply get a new cymbal and use the current cable to connect it and will all zones work? Thanks!

I more or less asked everything involved in identifying all aspects of the modification and as i want to set me kit up to mirror John Bonhams kit as we have all the parts needed to do so.
